Of course, we realize that we are not your only source of such knowledge and know-how. Nonetheless, what distinguishes our practice from theirs boils down to the fact that our work is founded on the precepts of the "new science" we know as Chaos. In other words, our practice is informed by the "chaordic system" principles summarized below. Unlike those who promote a "menu" of distinct programs, products, and interventions from which to choose, The Consultancy has built its reputation over the years on doing one thing.and doing it well. And even though that "one thing" may sound like two distinct endeavors, not unlike the wavicle, Organizational Design & Whole System Transformation (OD&T) are in fact, two aspects of the very same process of profound organizational change.

The power of whole system transformation cannot be truly appreciated unless and until it is distinguished from the much more common practice of reformation . Although the two are far too often (and mistakenly) used interchangeably, the "re" in the latter connotes a "doing again." In stark contrast, prefix "trans" conveys the process of transcending.
